Artistic Etchings with a Touch of Faux Silk!

   Faux Silk

I love this technique using a piece of tissue paper and turning it into a piece of Faux Silk, and its so simple but really effective.

    Animal stories 'kisses' Printed Petals

I needed a card for a friend whose crazy about elephants but wanted to keep it quite feminine & not too child like... and this is what I came up with, I used the 'kissing' technique which is a lot of fun & worth a try.

 Card stock: Elegant Egg Plant, Whisper White & Old Olive, DSP

   A couple more cards I made for my catalogue launch, and as Xmas is on its way heres a couple of card ideas, both using a bit of bling with Dazzling Diamonds, I used two  New stamp sets  Contempo Christmas and Dasher

                                                                                                                                                                   I've been missing in action again, actually our computer was so this is why I haven't been blogging but I have been Stamping, Ive had a Catalogue Launch which was very successful and heaps of fun! This is a couple of the cards I made for my samples board, Both using Big Shot embossing folders.

I was very lucky to be able to borrow this lovely set of a fellow demonstrator and friend of a friend, Susan Small, I've used the Chinese lantern technique as well as embossing. The colours I used are  Riding Hood Red, Soft Suede, Basic Black and Very Vanilla.
